About Dracaena Fragrans ‘Massangeana’

Dracaena Fragrans For Sale Egypt, Corn plant For Sale Egypt

Previously known as: Dracaena deremensis.

This hardy Dracaena Massangeana ‘Corn plant’ is a popular ornamental houseplant that is grown both indoors and outdoors in subtropical climates. It has a stalky stem with shiny sword-shaped leaves with broad cream-to-yellow strips running through the stem. Strongly scented flowers are occasionally produced on a plant grown in its native habitat, but it rarely flowers indoors.

Dracaena Fragrans ‘Corn plant’ can tolerate low light but grows faster and produces larger leaves in bright indirect sunlight. The yellow center stripe in the leaves of a dracaena corn plant requires bright indirect sunlight.

Dracaena survives under-watering but quickly dies from over-watering.

* New plants may drop a few leaves. This is normal. It needs time to adjust after the shock of being moved to a new home.
** If your water contains fluoride or chlorine, allow it out overnight before using it so the chemicals can dissipate. High concentrations of fluoride damage the leaves of dracaenas and cause brown leaf tips.
