About Skimmia Japonica ‘Female’
Skimmia Japonica For Sale Egypt
Japanese Skimmia, or Skimmia Japonica, are lovely looking shrubs that are dense and mounded and produce splendid aromatic flowers and ornamental fruits. They ripen in the fall and throughout the winter season. Male Skimmias are more fragrant and have larger foliage, but female Skimmias possess larger berries. Defiantly a part shade lover, this low maintenance plant is perfect for walkways.

The strongly scented flowers open in spring and are very attractive to bees.
As flowers fade, large bunches of glossy red berries will develop if there is a male Skimmia nearby (We recommend Kew Green or Rubella as a perfect partner). The berries last well into the icy months, beyond the winter solstice, and into the new year, making this shrub a seasonal joy.
